ABOUT
My art journey has always been quietly present in my life, as I’ve been painting for as long as I can remember. However, it truly began to take shape when my daughter asked me to create a commissioned piece for her. That moment transformed something personal into something shared, giving my work new purpose and direction. From there, what started as a lifelong passion grew into a more intentional and meaningful creative path.
I enjoyed a long and successful career as an interior designer, helping clients create spaces that felt both beautiful and deeply personal. Throughout those years, art was never far from my life—I have always painted, returning to it time and time again alongside my design work.
My artistic journey evolved further during my time living in Australia, where I had the privilege of studying traditional oil painting techniques under the guidance of a master artist. That experience refined my understanding of composition, tone, and texture. While I ultimately returned to working with acrylics—my preferred medium—I continue to incorporate many of the techniques I developed during my training in oils.
Today, my work is driven by a love of abstract painting, particularly the interplay of colour, tone, and texture. I am passionate about creating pieces that feel both expressive and harmonious, often working with carefully considered palettes to complement a client’s space. Each painting is an individual creation, designed not only to stand alone as a piece of art, but to enhance and reflect the atmosphere and personality of the room it inhabits.
